The Technical Product Manager is an advanced technical position with a combination of roles and responsibilities.  The Technical Product Manager provides technical as well as business value and benefits guidance to the Product Management Team in defining new products, features and enhancements, undertakes market and customer research initiatives, delivers technical assistance to the Pre-Sales Team with key pre-sales opportunities, and assists with technical enablement and marketing content creation. The role includes being responsible for, and participating in TAP, and Tech previews with Microsoft, in addition to being the technical owner with Microsoft for the FTC, and MCS teams within Microsoft. The Technical Product Managers will also lead innovation activities with the Product Managers. Individuals in this role must display a high level of technical expertise, have strong communication skills, and be highly flexible and capable of effective multi-tasking.  They must be independent and self-sufficient, requiring guidance rather than continuous supervision.
