    Role Overview

     

    Manages team responsible for supporting global Renewals Sales organization through customer, operational and business support. Responsible for developing processes and procedures to achieve Quest’s customer retention objectives. Partners with Renewals Sales leadership to guide programs, decision support and business process improvement including but not limited to global Renewal Sales strategy and planning, coverage, expiry model, quota and territory strategy & planning, forecasting, account management, planning and prioritization, closing strategies, sales automation, tools and reporting programs.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Directs the efforts of the renewals operations team to achieve the strategic and end-to-end operational objectives for the Quest’s Renewal Sales team.
    • Partners with Finance to analyze and finalize the annual maintenance expiry pool.
    • Collaborates with Global Renewals leadership to model coverage and set quotas.
    • Manages submission of manual credits for renewal team commissions
    • Monitors and maintains high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the Renewals Operations planning and execution efforts.
    • Leads the renewals forecasting process – partnering with Renewals Sales leadership to ensure that the CRM pipeline clearly represents the business and working with Renewals Sales VP to apply conversion rates and judgment as necessary to optimize forecast accuracy.
    • Provides support for all operational renewals reporting (including QBR’s and ad hoc requests) for the Quest Renewals sales team and Quest Business Units.
    • Serves as a key member of the Renewals leadership team, communicating regularly and effectively with that team, and contributing to operational excellence and change initiatives.
    • Is the operational voice of the renewals organization for global initiatives, including Quote-to-Cash. May lead Quest-wide projects.
    • Focuses on influencing and delivering a positive customer experience.
    • Improves sales processes, operational effectiveness and sales productivity.
    • Leads merger and acquisition integration efforts in support of Renewals sales objectives.
    • Engages cross-functional groups to solve business and customer issues.
    • Manages the hiring, staffing, training, and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
    • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
    • Builds long-term development and succession plans and nurtures talent
    • Establishes an environment that promotes diligence, excellence, communications, teamwork, sense of urgency and efficiency in meeting the operational needs of the business, and is aligned with Quest’s Purpose, Vision and Values.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of related sales operations experience or combination of education and experience.
    • Track record of building relationships and working closely with cross functional teams including, Finance, Renewal & License Sales, Enablement, IT and Operations.
    • 5+ years of leadership experience directly managing and mentoring a team
    • Must be a passionate, collaborative and results oriented leader capable of inspiring and building cross functional high performing teams
    • Must have experience effectively driving change while achieving established goals.
    • Must be able to travel up to 25%.
