We’re looking for a creative, highly motivated Manager for our Lead Development team who will work closely with sales leadership to drive BDR team success. The BDR Team Manager will have the ability to work independently to coach and mentor a team of lead development professionals and be singularly focused on improving our qualified opportunity development capabilities to feed the Enterprise sales team. The BDR Manager is a vital role within the organization and will play a critical role in the alignment between sales and marketing to ensure Marketing Qualified Leads are being qualified and funneled through the sales process efficiently. This is a "player-coach" role, so the BDR Manager is expected to excel at sourcing, relationship building, lead qualification, analysis and optimization. The BDR manager will be highly focused on outcomes and impact, closely monitoring metrics with the goal to increase productivity and contributions to pipeline and bookings.

    Responsibilities

    -Manage day to day activities of team focused on Lead Qualification including live coaching and mentoring, driving lead volume, queues and disposition, call statistics, conversions and pipeline creation

    -Monitor calls and conversations through CRM reports and dashboards and by listening in on calls using headsets with phone splitters

    -Recruit, hire, and effectively onboard/train new BDR's. Address skills gaps with additional coaching and recurring training as required

    -Actively coach and mentor a team of BDR's to improve their skills and overall performance

    -Have a maniacal focus on metrics and reporting; everything from dials per day, conversion rates to opportunities, hand off to sales and close rates

    -Coordinate daily, weekly, monthly reporting with the team as required

    -Work closely with sales managers and account executives to ensure proper follow up on hand off of qualified leads and opportunities

    -Work closely with Demand Gen and Marketing team members and management to make recommendations for improvements around process, efficiency, productivity, lead quality, and lead scoring

    Qualifications

    -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

    -3+ years of management experience with proven track record of hiring, building, retaining, and developing a BDR team

    -2+ years of solid experience in a BDR role - ideally software

    -Experience with high-quality opportunity production for an enterprise sales team

    -Passion for developing talent and coaching a team to success

    -Data driven – you are driven by numbers and constantly finding ways to improve productivity, efficiency and contribution to the business

    -Proficient in Salesforce. com

    -Proven track record of goal achievement (as individual or manager)

    -Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment

    -Excellent interpersonal skills

    -Team player, high energy, reliable

    -Excellent communication skills; listening and writing skills

    -Strong group and 1x1 coaching and mentoring skills

    -Ability to team with marketing and sales to drive an increase in pipeline opportunities and wins
