    We are seeking a Presales Solution Consultant to support Quest Software’s Metalogix Solutions.

     

    In this role you will be working in partnership with the software sales teams in support of sales opportunities. We are looking for an individual with experience in consulting, presales and enterprise solution architecture of Metalogix / SharePoint Solutions and a proven track record of supporting solution sales.

    Responsibilities

    • Recommends, coordinates and delivers the appropriate technical presales services including presentations, workshops and proof of concepts to drive technical and business value of a proposed solution. 
    • Works effectively with assigned members of the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies for assigned territories and opportunities. Ability to manage objections and speak with authority
    • Keeps abreast of technical industry platform knowledge and articulates how that relates to the challenges and opportunities within the business (customer) community.  
    • Communicates with commercial awareness and the ability to articulate the value of software solutions to all levels of business. Provides value discovery, demonstrations, solution design and architecture and Proof of Concept (Value)
    • Attain/Maintain Level 1 Certification on Quest Portfolio.
    • Attain/Maintain Level 2 Certification on assigned BU Solutions
    • Attain Level 3 Certification in 1 or 2 assigned BU products. Become SME for assigned region.
    • Understands and responds to the competitive market
    • Develops trusted and influential relationships with the technical decision-making and decision-influencing customer and partner contacts. 
    • Provides effective Customer Engagement by proactively maintaining technical relationships for key account in assigned region including regular product updates and roadmap sessions. Proactively ensures customer success and their retention within the Quest base.
    • Supports partner marketing and the Quest Service Delivery teams through effective technical communication and qualification. 
    • Work effectively within the compliance framework of Quest, well organised with a demonstrable team ethic.
    • Adopts, demonstrates and nurtures the Quest Purpose, Vision and Values

    Qualifications

    •  6+ years’ experience in a technical presales role working with enterprise software solutions
    • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft and SharePoint based environments including
    • Experience working with Microsoft Cloud and Hosting solutions including offerings such as Windows Azure and Office365.
    • University qualifications and industry certifications to support the primary technical discipline
    • Able to interact with various levels within customer and partner organization from CxO, Middle Management and technical levels of people.
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving, written and oral communication skills.
