The Revenue Accounting department is responsible for reviewing customer contracts for proper revenue accounting treatment, making recommendations on revenue recognition strategies, determining treatment of multi-element deliverables and general accounting functions such as journal entries, month-end close, revenue allocations and monthly/quarterly audits. The Revenue Manager will work with other departments to manage projects as they come up which could include future acqusitions, process improvements, and implementations. Quest Software is implementing ASC 606 on February 1, 2019. The role will assist with the implementation through testing a system implementation and transaction testing.
The Revenue Manager will be responsible for ensuring revenue recognition compliance with U.S. GAAP and timely completion of all revenue deliverables for the EMEA and APJ regions. The Revenue Manager will be responsible for managing the team to timely completion of close activities each month including deal reviews, account reconciliations, close journal entries, and reporting.
