    We are currently looking for a  Software Security Presales Engineering Architect, responsible for selling Quest/One Identity’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to join our team.  This is a remote based role with heavy territory travel to new or existing client sites in the commercial realms.

     

    Role Overview

    Supports the sales organization by providing presales expertise in One Identity products. Provides subject matter expertise and advises on new or revised software solutions. Develops and offers integrated, end-to-end IT solutions in targeted industry segments that support the customer’s strategic, operational and financial goals and positions One Identity software for rapidly growing business.

    Responsibilities

    • Recommends One Identity technology where applicable. Works collaboratively with business leaders to align technology to organizational strategies and objectives.
    • Understands the customer’s business, their business environment and their technical needs to develop and tailor the most appropriate technical solution.
    • Develops and enhances intellectual property through research and customer experiences.
    • Directly interfaces with the external customer and strategic business partners on projects in a Presales capacity.
    • Works with internal One Identity business units on public facing product demonstrations, trade shows, and many to one events.
    • Influences a broad spectrum of stakeholders toward achieving business goals.
    • Ensures understanding of technical matters by non-technical, executive decision makers.
    • Develops mutually beneficial strategic alliances with customers.
    • Advises and councils key leadership on the latest principles, practices, and/or technologies and their practical application.
    • Effectively articulates the value proposition associated with One Identity’s products and services.
    • Recommends business solutions considering customer needs and One Identity’s interests.
    • Builds relationships with customers based on knowledge of One Identity’s technology, products, and services.
    • Stays abreast of current industry trends and how One Identity’s customers are being impacted to help solve specific market challenges in targeted industries.
    • Leverages cross-functional resources to achieve results/meet customer needs.
    • Effectively prioritizes multiple demands while ensuring customer needs are met.
    • Makes decisions based on an appropriate amount of information/data analytics.
    • Provides direction and guidance to less experienced peers.
    • Build and continues to increase expertise for One Identity’s software product and service offerings, as well as business processes and systems, at a rapid pace.
    • Product focused sales, moving to more solution set oriented approach for relationship account set at the intermediate level.
    • Recommends business solutions considering customer needs and One Identity’s interests.
    • Analyzes multiple market factors to both anticipate/identify customer problems/needs and recommend appropriate solution.
    • Provide talking points and is a resource for account team to keep them up to speed on new products/services and how they can benefit from them.
    • Demonstrates world-class sales capability by building strategic selling skills, executing business plans to enhance customer and One Identity's success, and consistently achieving strong attainment results.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years relevant experience or combination of education and experience.
    • 5+ years of identity and Security Software experience
    • Must have experience demonstrating product features and capabilities via remote web demonstrations, as well as map customer technical requirements to business requirements.
    • Must be able to travel up to 50% in Canada
    • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science desired but not required.
