We are currently looking for a Software Inside Pre-Sales Engineer II located in our offices in Dublin Ohio.  Will be part of our inside presales team supporting our Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions for our clients in the US.

    Role Overview

    One identity will provide training on our Identity and Access Management solutions and how they map to customers' technical needs. This position provides pre-sales technical support to the sales teams during the software sales process.   Accountable for the technical validity of the software solution and the direct relationship with the customers' strategic business plan.  The One Identity Inside Presales Engineer supports the sales staff in assessing potential application of company software products and services to meet customer needs. Inside Presales Engineers prepare detailed product specifications for the purpose of selling One Identity Software solutions and services. Conducts software customer needs analysis, provides project scoping, coordinates internal and inter-department activities. Supports sellers in creating demand for software solutions. This role requires a high degree of technical competency to respond to customer needs and to discuss product capabilities and applications with technical users/buyers. 



    - Effectively articulates the value proposition associated with One Identity’s products and services.

    - Recommends business solutions considering customer needs and One Identity’s interests.

    - Builds relationships with customers based on knowledge of One Identity’s technology, products, and services.

    - Stays abreast of current industry trends and how One Identity’s customers are being impacted to help solve specific market challenges in targeted industries.

    - Leverages cross-functional resources to achieve results/meet customer needs.

    - Effectively prioritizes multiple demands while ensuring customer needs are met.

    - Makes decisions based on an appropriate amount of information/data analytics.

    Builds and continues to increase expertise for One Identity’s software product and service offerings, as well as business processes and systems, at a rapid pace.

    - Product focused sales, moving to more solution set oriented approach for relationship account set at the intermediate level.

    - Begins developing subject matter expertise.

    - Recommends business solutions considering customer needs and One Identity’s interests.

    - Provides talking points and is a resource for account team to keep them up to speed on new products/services and how they can benefit from them.

    - Must be able to demonstrate product features and capabilities via remote web demonstrations, as well as map customer technical requirements to business requirements.




    - 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

    - High School diploma or equivalent

    - Sales experience and specialized capability

    - Excellent verbal communication skills

    - Strong customer service skills

    - Requires someone who is technically minded.



    - Associates degree, technical college or some college work preferred
