We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Database Performance Solution team out of our Aliso Viejo, CA office.  This is an entry level sales role and a great opportunity for someone who would like a career in sales in the software industry.

    The Sales Representative will be responsible for lead generation & qualification to drive new business. This includes outbound prospecting to support field efforts.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Calling into target accounts based on coordination with field representatives
    • Build targeted email campaigns and/or call campaigns in order to drive attendance to sales events.
    • Initiate conversations with end users to introduce our Database Performance solutions and educate the value of those solutions
    • Document prospect conversations in a standardized template to be provided to the field rep for follow up
    • Build targeted email campaigns, call campaigns in order to drive attendance to sales events
    • Utilize professional communication, research and interviewing skills, as well as marketing and sales skills
    • Work effectively in a team environment to support achievement of sales goals and deliver on customer service levels
    • Create daily/weekly plans in coordination with manager and field reps
    • If the client is looking for a demo, get all the necessary information such as times that work best for them, other players that may be involved and roles/job title, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.

    Qualifications

    • Prefer a Bachelor’s degree with no work experience, or High School diploma or Associates degree with 1-2 years work experience
    • Ability to do Internet research and show proficiency with Excel
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive
    • Active listening skills
    • Ability to learn, reason and adapt quickly
    • Must live a commutable distance to our Aliso Viejo, CA offices
