    Account Manager DB Performance Monitoring DACH Region (ideally Cologne based)

    We are currently looking for a Sales Executive to join our established Team, responsible for selling Quest Information Management solutions to new or existing Commercial or Public Sector clients.

    Although the selling territory will span across the DACH Countries, the ideal base for this customer’s facing role would be in Germany - ideal location is Cologne.

    Responsibilities

     Role Responsibilities:

    • Represents a balanced sales effort of software products and services knowledge and selling skills.
    • Grows the territory/region/account base/named accounts to attain financial objectives.
    • Understands customers’ business and solutions requirements.
    • Territory/regional account management, including account planning and sales forecasting.
    • Pipeline generation. Create net new opportunities and develop them through sales process.
    • Customarily and regularly engaged with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties.
    • Leads sales process and utilizes all available resources to manage account, including channel and all aspects of the customer related ecosystem
    • Anticipates how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of Quest Information Management software products and services.
    • Advises customers/Quest Information Management on strategic business and technology plans.
    • Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader on the industry, the Quest Information Management business model and competitors.
    • Assesses potential sales opportunities and develop value propositions. Develops product solutions for customers. Effective presentation and negotiation skills.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years successful experience Enterprise Sales
    • 5+ Years successful experience selling into Large Accounts (>10K employees)
    • Demonstrated knowledge of database solutions and/or directly related technology
    • 3+ years’ experience selling complex software solutions both direct and through Channel 

    • Solution sales qualified
    • A high call rate combined with evidence of creative deal-making is essential.
    • Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive level relationships.

    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
    • Fluent English
    • Knowledge of solution and value-based selling techniques
    • Accurate forecasting skills
    • Ability to sell to high-level executives using articulate value propositions
