  • Overview

    Responsible for solutions and technology marketing activities designed to increase sales growth and expand market share in the Microsoft Platform Management business unit. Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and objectives. Evaluates and adjusts product marketing strategies to respond to changing and/or competitive markets. Identifies and communicates customer value proposition and maintains relationships with sales, product partners, and third party vendors. Assists in creating content in the Microsoft space in support of the promotion, enablement and sale of the products.


    • Develops Go to Market and content plans and activities for specific product(s) or solution(s) around Microsoft.
    • Monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs.
    • Develops content for internal and external audiences relaying product/solution strategies and value propositions, including customer presentations, sales training materials, thought leadership and demand generation assets.
    • Manages product/ solutions launches to ensure sales force readiness and optimize P&L impact of product transitions.
    • Engages with other departments to ensure execution of strategic plans, such as digital marketing, demand generation, sales enablement.
    • Engages, contributes and supports cross-functional marketing team that executes against an agile methodology to deliver marketing programs.
    • Regularly presents and speaks in front of groups – sales, channel partners, industry events, online webcasts
    • Approximate travel – 20%


    • 10+ years’ experience in marketing
    • Experience with products that support Microsoft Platforms: Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive
    • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
    • Proven project management experience - balancing multiple projects/requests simultaneously
    • Able to work independently, able to work as part of a virtual team.
    • Strong communication and influencing skills. Excellent relationship building and networking skills.
    • Solid written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills
    • Team player willing to work in a cross-functional and virtual marketing team
    • Results-driven with the ability to analyze and make decisions based on data
    Candidate preferences:
    • Previous experience with another B2B enterprise software company.
    • Knowledge of systems such as Salesforce.com; Webex; Eloqua
    • Previous Product Marketing experience a distinct advantage
