    Software Engineer, Subscription Services DevOps (.NET) IG

     

    At Quest, we are expanding our multi-function DevOps team dedicated to development and operations of our mission critical back-end services.  We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Back-end Applications DevOps team. This team is very agile and using cutting edge technologies to deliver internal microservices, including authentication, authorization, order processing and billing, that are critical for the sale and operation of many of our products.

    The successful candidate should be enthusiastic professional who is deeply interested in new technologies and is able to learn things quickly.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Design, development, maintenance, and testing of new versions of our subscription management services, including coding in C# / .NET / HTML / CSS / JavaScript, and using cloud services in Azure - database, message bus, function apps, APIs, and more, responding to feature requests from internal and external customers
    • Meet high availability and performance objectives
    • Deploy new software versions (understand concepts of one click deploys)
    • Solve customer support issues (as these are back-end services, most customers are other products within the organization)
    • Ensure the microservices follow best practice coding, security, regulatory, and licensing requirements

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    • BSc. degree in Computer Science or higher
    • 4+ years of work experience as .NET software engineer
    • good knowledge of HTTP protocol and Web Services
    • good knowledge of design patterns
    • good knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform
    • good understanding of modern software development, deployment and operations procedures
    • excellent written and spoken command of English language
    • no problem to participate in 24x7 on-call schedule (one week out of three)
