We are currently looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our team selling our Microsoft Management, Identity Management, Privileged Account Management  and Log Management software solutions.

    The Account Manager is a quota carrying, team oriented and experienced sales professional focused on directly driving the sale of Quest’s platform management solution, and identifying opportunities and leading sales engagements. Our Account Managers have an entrepreneurial team spirit, can influence change, and want to leverage the many global and regional resources available at Quest. If you join our team, you will orchestrate the sales engagement, win competitive opportunities, expand existing customers, collaborate with a wide range of experts, and guide our customers to invest in Quest’s technology solutions.


    • Manages the sales territory to meet and exceed sales targets; hunter mentality, proven prospecting skills required
    • Prospecting, developing and closing opportunities for Platform Management solutions through the entire sales cycle
    • Understand and leverage Quest's partner landscape
    • Leverage existing customer relationships to present Quest´s software solutions in an assigned account base Middle tier customers in NSW
    • Expand the existing adoption of Quest solutions inside current install bases
    • Implement a solution-selling strategy that fully leverages the business value of Quest solutions
    • Proactively lead a strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
    • Develop and implement territory-wide business and sales action plans to achieve sales quota in assigned territory by:
      • Account mapping, planning and opportunity identification
      • Qualifying prospects and following a disciplined solution selling approach
      • Establishing accurate and qualified sales forecasts


    Qualifications & Requirements

    • 7+ years of overall software sales experience or equivalent
    • Proven track record of success in managing a sales territory and meeting sales targets
    • Experience in using and maintaining CRM systems (Quest uses Salesforce)
    • Possess knowledge and expertise in platform management solutions
    • Experience in solution selling and value selling
    • Display enthusiasm, energy and promote an energetic and respectful work environment
    • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reach performance goals
    • Strong business and technical acumen with an ability to navigate organizational complexity
    • Maximize customer facing activities with the ability to listen, understand and communicate strategic solutions, utilizing effective discovery techniques to uncover sales opportunities
    • Must be able to travel up to 75% in territory Sydney Area
