  • Overview

    Coordinating the activities of the regional Professional Services team, partners and external contractors to meet the critical outcomes of Quest customers. Interacts with and supports the Sales team to sell the technology and services of Quest Software.

    Responsibilities

    Engagement Manager, a pivotal resource and communication conduit between the Sales teams, customers, PSO teams and PMO.

    • Manages and schedules resources for delivery, sales meetings and required information
    • Provides Project management duties such as project planning, review (technical and risk) and reporting
    • Provides SOW and other commercial material to customers and follows the internal REV REC compliance process
    • Is involved in sales planning and works with the Principal and Sales to craft and close deals
    • Provides information to Sales in support of Sales effort
    • Initial project escalation point
    • Responsible for the development of the scope of activities and scope of works for presentation to customers. This also involves understanding the relationships of Quest business units and specific requirements of major customers and the range of compliance processes.
    • Directs the efforts of others and provides oversight into all aspects of project deliveryboth at the tactical and strategic levels.
    • Provides delivery reporting to customers , sales staff and management in a variety of forms
    • Identifies and escalates delivery issues to management and customers as appropriate. Provides effective stakeholder management to achieve critical outcomes.
    • Provides a process for quality control of customer delivery documentation.
    • Utilises collaboration tools to store files and documents that serve various aspects of project delivery.
    • Proactively seeks processes and devices to improve the efficiency, productivity and tools to support the activities of the Professional Services team.
    • Provides outline project plans and project management activities where appropriate to an engagement.
    • Prepares and presents reports to all levels of leadership and staff.
    • Ensures that effective project controls are in place to monitor project performance. Provides effective performance reporting for the customer and Quest. Understands the links and dependencies between the projects and other in-flight projects and/or business initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Experience at least 7 - 10 years in service delivery management or project management roles within the IT sector.
