The Regional Sales Sr. Manager is responsible for leading a team of field-channel sales representatives.  The team develops and manages channel partners and sells Quest Data Protection and End Point Management solutions to commercial, state and local accounts in the western portion of North America. 


  • Manages a team of 9 outside field-channel sales representatives
  • Develop plans to ensure growth of Quest license and service revenue
  • Engage directly with customers and reps to model effective sales techniques and close key transactions
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts each month, quarter and year
  • Manage hiring, staffing and skills development of a diverse and effective team
  • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members
  • Organize cross functional teams engagement with accounts to solve complex problems.
  • Provide direction, development and inspiration to team members.



  • 10 years selling software solutions
  • 5 years managing sales teams
  • Demonstrated over-quota performance as individual and manager
  • BA or BS
  • Travel up to 50%



  • 2 +years leading teams that sell Systems Management software solutions such as - Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery, and Endpoint Management.
  • Preference will be given to candidates living west of the Mississippi River
