Software Sales Account Manager I
Territory Sales Manager is responsible for selling Platform Management software product and services portfolio to a geographic or vertical set of defined, important mid-size to major accounts.
-Grows the territory/region/account base/named accounts to attain financial objectives against the Platform Managment product and solutions
-Achieve sales territory targets through leveraged selling with a partner ecosystem.
-Owns the territory planning and success by managing all internal and external support organisations
-Understands customers’ business and solutions requirements
-Territory/regional account management, including account planning and sales forecasting
-Customarily and regularly engaged with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties
-Leads sales process and utilizes all available resources to manage account
-Uses thought leadership to build customer relationships and support customers in developing business solutions using Quest software products and services
-Able to close complex deals and keeping up-to-date on Quest’s software products, and services
-Exhibits a broad base knowledge of multiple or related industries as well as an acute business understanding
-Organizes internal/external resources in response to customer needs
-Articulates how the Quest business model relates to selling Quest software products and services
-Key point of contact for customer but may escalate customer issues/concerns as appropriate
-Works with minimal direction
-Manages multiple assignments and customer sales
-Independently determines approach to sales activities
-Independently develops solutions that are thorough, practical, and consistent with functional or customer objectives
-Updates management on sales activities and achievement of objectives
-8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
-A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of sales specialization and industry.
-Overall product line knowledge
-Understands customer’s decision making process, goals, objectives and strategies
-Solid business and financial acumen
-Assesses potential sales opportunities and develops value propositions
-Develops product solutions for customers
-Effective presentation and negotiation skills
-Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive level relationships
