Overview

Reporting to the Compensation & Benefits Director, this role will help to design and implement compensation programs that support Quest's strategic and operational goals, as well as ensure that programs are effective and aligned to the company's total rewards philosophy.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development, implementation and maintenance of Quest’s global job structure and market pricing practice, which support company objectives and local practices.
  • Provides HR and leadership with ongoing consultation, effective compensation analytics to help identify issues and solve problems based on best market practices.
  • Assists in the design of Quest’s sales incentive plans, providing guidance on plan design elements and commission policies.
  • Lead the annual pay planning process, including training managers and ensuring adherence to budget.
  • Design and administer Quest’s annual bonus program and other variable pay programs.
  • Partner with Compensation Advisors in other regions to consistently align salary levels and bonus targets.
  • Participate in global salary surveys and ensure compensation programs are market competitive and internally equitable, recommending changes as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Compensation with large-scale, complex, globally distributed organizations.

 

  • Expert knowledge of global compensation practices including compensation/bonus/incentive programs, policy design and implementation, market analysis and labor market trends
  • Experience with sales incentive design, particularly in the software industry
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with senior leaders and drive complex programs
  • Must have expert knowledge of Excel (including v-lookups and pivot tables) and a proficiency with Word and Power Point
  • Experience working across organizations, geographies and diverse cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Typically requires 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree
