Overview

The Compensation & Benefits Sr. Advisor is a client facing position responsible for managing all compensation and benefits matters across Asia Pacific.  Reporting to the Compensation & Benefits Director, this role will help to design and implement compensation and benefits programs that support Quest's strategic and operational goals, as well as ensure that programs are effective and aligned to the company's total rewards philosophy.

Responsibilities

- Apply specialized total rewards knowledge to implement programs and initiatives and to contribute to program design

- Liaise with local brokers to ensure that all benefits programs are competitive in the local labor market

- Act as the point of contact for all Asia Pacific total rewards issues, including benefits matters related to insurance and non-insurance benefits, and compensation matters related to base pay, bonuses and/or salary level

- Provide advice to HR Business Partners and managers on pay decisions, pay guidelines, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation

- Lead the annual pay planning process for the region, including training managers and ensuring adherence to budget

- Partner with Compensation Advisors in other regions to consistently align salary levels and bonus targets

- Participate in global salary surveys and ensure compensation programs are market competitive and internally equitable, recommending changes as appropriate

- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Compensation and Benefits with large-scale, complex, globally distributed organizations.

 

- Broad knowledge of global compensation practices including compensation/bonus/incentive programs, policy design and implementation, market analysis and labor market trends

- Comprehensive knowledge of health, retirement, disability and leave plans, with good understanding of tax and legal issues with respect to benefits

- Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with senior leaders and drive complex programs

- Must have expert knowledge of Excel (including v-lookups and pivot tables) and a proficiency with Word and Power Point

- Experience working across organizations, geographies and diverse cultures

- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision

- Impeccable attention to detail

- Typically requires 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree
