The role is a field sales role responsible for selling the breadth of the IAM software product and services portfolio to a geographic or vertical set of defined, important mid-size to major accounts.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Represents a balanced sales effort of software products and services knowledge and selling skills.
  • Grows the territory/region/distribution partner base to attain financial objectives.
  • Understands distribution partners’ business and solutions requirements.
  • Distribution account management, including account planning and target forecasting.
  • Customarily and regularly engaged with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties.
  • Leads sales process and utilizes all available resources to manage account.
  • Anticipates how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of Quest software products and services.
  • Advises Distributors/Quest on strategic business and QBRs.
  • Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader on the industry, the Quest business model and competitors.
  • Assesses potential sales opportunities and develop value propositions. Develops product solutions for customers. Effective presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Visit all distributors in territory to keep them on track and focused on Quest
  • Form a point of contact for distribution issues and problems
  • Work in collaboration with EMEA / USA Distribution team
  • Drive sales through executing proven campaigns, promoting sales spiffs and working closely with relevant BDMs / Vendor managers
  • Drive net new partner recruitment
  • Execute on strategic KPI like programs for distis in collaboration with XBU Disti Manager
  • Execute on quarterly business plan template & QBRs in collaboration with XBU Disti Manager
  • Be an internal evangelist to promote the use of distribution at Quest
  • Keep all plans up to date including net new license numbers vs target
  • Drive incremental revenue and proactive attitudes within distribution

 

 

Qualifications

 

Role Requirements:

  • Solution sales qualified
  • Extensive years channel Sales Experience
  • Territory is EMEA
  • Function: Account management skills. Able to provide direction to less senior sales team members. Relationship and business acumen are essential.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive level relationships.
