Overview

Quest Software Inc. is seeking a Business System Analysis Senior Advisor for their Aliso Viejo, CA facility to be responsible for leveraging all aspects of SDLC and Project Management, analyzing, defining, and implementing global and cross-functional Business Process requirements to affect efficiency and productivity gains in Sales-Motions applied to multiple and distinct Go-to-Market (i.e., Direct, Channel) strategies.

Responsibilities

Analyzing business processes in order to define the current state, identify inefficiencies, and gather requirements from Subject Matter Experts, defining and documenting the future state processes in order to provide a confirmation of the requirements delivered by the subject matter experts as well as provide sufficient detail for the software developers to create the technical solution (which includes creating highly detailed BRD/SRS documents, Process flows diagrams (SWIM lane, etc.), Data or Program flowcharts. Implementing the solution by providing direction and feedback during Technical Design & Development stages, strategizing change management by analyzing the gap between the current state and future state in order to determine the areas of user acceptance risk, create test plans and test scripts, execute test scripts and track issues and resolutions, and prepare, document and deliver Release Notes for new technology releases. Providing daily technical and functional support for the Siebel and Salesforce CRM, designing and implementation of Siebel on-premises integration with Salesforce using IBM’s Cast-iron, support of the transition of data to Salesforce, and delivering custom data analytics (e.g., reports and dashboards) that help support business functions in various departments and divisions across the organization.

Qualifications

This position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Developer, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related field of study plus 6 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Developer, or related position. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Must be a Certified Siebel Consultant, Certified Oracle Business Intelligence Specialist, and Certified Salesforce Administrator. This position requires demonstrated experience with Salesforce and Siebel Product and Pricing administration, and SQL Analysis and Server tools (Toad or MS SQL Server/Tools) including ODBC setup and configuration, linkedserver, DBAmp, OpenQuery, SOQL and SOSL. Must have business knowledge of B2B concepts and applications including Microsoft BizTalk, Oracle Fusion SOA, Boomi Atomsphere, IBM CastIron Websphere, and possess demonstrated experience with Channel Sales, Siebel 8.1.X, Scripting, eMail, WebServices, XML, XSLT, Integration Objects, EBC, VBC, EAI, EIM, Workflows and Configuration, Siebel Open UI implementation, and hands on experience with BI Publisher.
