Overview

We are seeking an experienced product management leader to own the KACE endpoint management portfolio, which spans cloud-native SaaS, on-premises appliance, and hosted delivery models.

You will work with a dedicated Product Owner and cross-functional partners across Engineering, QA, Sales, Renewals, Marketing, and Customer Success, balancing the needs of a mature installed base with the integration of endpoint technology into the company's broader security and identity platform strategy.

Responsibilities

This is a rare combination of proven technology and emerging opportunity. You will own an established portfolio with a substantial installed base and real market presence, just as it converges with identity security, one of the fastest-moving categories in enterprise software. The role carries genuine decision authority over roadmap, pricing, and packaging, and your choices will have a direct impact on revenue, retention, and the portfolio's role in the company's next-generation security platform. If you want scope, autonomy, and consequence, this role delivers all three.

Portfolio Strategy & Roadmap: Own product strategy and roadmap across a multi-product endpoint management portfolio, including cloud-native UEM/MDM, on-premises systems management, hosted offerings, and products at varying lifecycle stages. Capture roadmap rationale, sequencing trade-offs, and cross-product dependencies, and drive opportunities for endpoint technology (agent, patch, and scripting capabilities) to contribute to the company's broader security and identity platform initiatives.

• Product Requirements & Agile Execution: Translate strategy and customer signal into clear PRDs and user stories engineering can build against. Operate inside Agile development cycles with the Product Owner, engineering, and QA, providing feature scoping, feasibility input, and prioritization across concurrent product lines.

• Pricing, Packaging & Commercial Authority: Own pricing and packaging decisions across the portfolio, including editions, entitlements, and bundling. Serve as an active member of the discount approval chain, applying margin judgment across SaaS, on-premises, and hosted commercial models.

• Retention & Renewal Strategy: Partner with Sales, Renewals, and Customer Success on retention strategy for strategic and at-risk accounts. Provide product-level input on save plays, map customer pain points to committed roadmap items, and translate win/loss patterns into roadmap, positioning, and packaging action.

• Competitive Research & Positioning: Maintain competitive intelligence and positioning against large platform vendors and modern endpoint management entrants, building capability comparisons and equipping Sales and Marketing with credible differentiation. Partner with the Analyst Relations program on engagement with industry analyst firms, including participation go/no-go decisions, briefings, and evaluation responses.

• Go-to-Market Coordination: Coordinate positioning, messaging, enablement, and launch planning with Marketing and Sales ahead of releases and campaigns. Synthesize engineering status into clear release communications for executives, field teams, and customers

Qualifications

8+ years of product management or related product leadership experience; a background in endpoint management, IT operations, or infrastructure software is preferred, but we will consider exceptional product leaders from adjacent enterprise software categories.

• Working knowledge of endpoint management domains such as UEM/MDM, patch management, OS deployment, IT asset management (ITAM), and IT service management (ITSM), or a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in a deep technical domain.

• Experience managing products through the full lifecycle, from new capability investment through mature, revenue-protection, and end-of-life stages.

• Experience working within Agile development environments and collaborating with a Product Owner, engineering, and QA across multiple concurrent product release cycles.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to articulate strategy and trade-offs to executive, technical, and commercial audiences.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with pricing, packaging, and discounting decisions across SaaS and on-premises commercial models, including margin-based deal judgment.

• Experience supporting renewal and retention motions in an installed-base business, including win/loss analysis and roadmap-driven save strategies.

• Familiarity with industry analyst engagement (e.g., Gartner, KuppingerCole, IDC), including briefings and evaluation participation.

• Exposure to identity security, endpoint security, or adjacent security categories.

• Product management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute) are a plus.
