We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead transformative AI initiatives, architect scalable data solutions, and drive strategic research in machine learning and generative AI. This is a high-impact leadership role where your decisions will influence product architecture, data strategy, and AI capabilities across multiple product lines.

• Lead end-to-end data engineering solutions for AI-driven products
• Define and implement scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for ML/AI workloads
• Collaborate with principal engineers and AI researchers to shape Quest’s AI roadmap
• Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering, model deployment, and MLOps
• Influence architectural decisions across product teams and ensure production-grade AI delivery
• Present strategic insights and technical recommendations to senior leadership

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AI/ML systems
• Proven leadership in designing and deploying scalable data platforms in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Airflow)
• Deep understanding of ML lifecycle, model deployment, and data governance
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and real-time data processing
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into robust data solutions

• Experience with generative AI, NLP, or computer vision
• Contributions to open-source projects or published research
• Prior leadership of cross-functional data teams
