We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead transformative AI initiatives, architect scalable data solutions, and drive strategic research in machine learning and generative AI. This is a high-impact leadership role where your decisions will influence product architecture, data strategy, and AI capabilities across multiple product lines.

-Lead end-to-end data engineering solutions for AI-driven products

-Define and implement scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for ML/AI workloads

-Collaborate with principal engineers and AI researchers to shape Quest’s AI roadmap

-Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering, model deployment, and MLOps

-Influence architectural decisions across product teams and ensure production-grade AI delivery

-Present strategic insights and technical recommendations to senior leadership

-8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AI/ML systems

-Proven leadership in designing and deploying scalable data platforms in cloud environments (Azure preferred)

-Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Airflow)

-Deep understanding of ML lifecycle, model deployment, and data governance

-Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and real-time data processing

-Ability to translate complex business challenges into robust data solutions

-Experience with generative AI, NLP, or computer vision

-Contributions to open-source projects or published research

-Prior leadership of cross-functional data teams
