As we continue to expand our SaaS and on-premise offerings, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Account Manager to drive customer retention, expansion, and growth across the Northeast region of the United States.

 

As a Sales Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage, expand, and retain existing customer accounts, ensuring they maximize the value of Quest’s solutions. You will work closely with IT and business decision-makers to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding solution adoption within Quest’s strategic account set.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven sales professional with experience growing existing customer revenue, managing renewals, and positioning Data Governance, AI Readiness, and Database Management solutions to IT and business leaders.

Responsibilities

-Customer Expansion – Identify and execute opportunities to expand existing customer relationships by introducing additional Quest solutions.

-Retention & Renewals – Drive renewals and contract expansions to ensure long-term customer success.

-Account Management – Serve as the primary sales contact for assigned customers, fostering strong relationships at C-level, IT leadership, and business unit levels.

-Solution Selling – Position Quest’s Data Governance, AI Readiness, and Database Management solutions to solve evolving customer challenges.

-Strategic Growth Planning – Develop and execute account plans to increase revenue, drive adoption, and strengthen customer engagement.

-Territory Management – Oversee a portfolio of Strategic (5b+ annual revenue) across a multi-state territory across the Northeast.

-Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Customer Success, Professional Services, and Marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term value realization.

-Market Intelligence – Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs to drive growth.

 

Qualifications

-5+ years of B2B software sales or account management experience, with a strong track record of growing existing customer revenue.

-Experience selling solutions in Data Governance, AI Readiness, Database Management, or Enterprise Software.

-Proven ability to upsell, cross-sell, and drive renewals within enterprise and mid-market accounts.

-Strong understanding of IT leadership priorities, including data security, compliance, cloud, and AI trends.

-Experience managing a multi-state customer portfolio, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

-Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative sales skills.

-Ability to work independently in a remote role with regional travel (20-40%)

-Strong teamwork skills required to successfully work in a highly-matrixed environment 

-Proficient with CRM tools – SFDC and Siebel
