In this role you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager in Bangalore(Hybrid).

-Take ownership of designing, developing, and testing software for new product initiatives using cutting-edge technologies and modern development practices

-Design and implement API-first, REST-based web services

-Actively participate in product requirement reviews, design discussions, code reviews, and the creation of supporting technical documentation

-Contribute to the strategic direction of the development environment by evaluating and recommending tools, frameworks, and best practices

-Provide ongoing support for released products, including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex software defects

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and alignment with product goals

-Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement

-15+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with deep expertise in C#, .NET, and RESTful API design.

-Proven track record of success in new product development and innovation.

-Ability to evaluate and recommend alternative technologies, tools, and methodologies.

-Proven experience with object-oriented programming and enterprise-grade software architecture.

-Strong background in Windows-based development and PowerShell scripting.

-Commercial experience with virtual machines, Docker containers, and Kubernetes-based microservices.

-Professional experience developing and deploying applications in cloud environments (preferably Azure).

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.

-Demonstrated ability to lead design and architecture discussions and drive technical decisions.

-Bachelor's degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

-Experience with SQL databases, Cassandra, Redis, etcd, CosmosDB, and WebAPI development.

-Familiarity with concurrency, multi-threaded programming, and performance optimization.

-Knowledge of public key cryptography, PKI, symmetric encryption schemes, and security best practices.

-Experience with Linux, SSH, shell scripting, and PowerShell.

-Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and identity-related technologies.

-Security certifications such as Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CCSP, and/or exposure to the security domain are a strong advantage.

-Exposure to Java, Python, JavaScript, and other languages for maintaining open-source SDKs(Nice to have)

Nice-to-have

- SQL Database experience.

- Experience with Cassandra/NoSQL.

- REST web services/WebAPI.

- Experience with concurrency and multi-threaded programming.

- Experience with cryptography certificates and security concepts.

- Demonstrable track record of achievements in new product development.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.

- Ability to initiate and participate in design/architecture creation and reviews.

- Ability to initiate evaluation of alternative technologies, tools, and methods.

- Background in the security domain / IAM is an added advantage.
