Job Title: Software Dev Senior Engineer – Security & Cloud Engineering (Product) 

Location: Hybrid

We are seeking a Software Dev Senior Engineer to lead the delivery of an enterprise-grade cloud product. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with deep experience in Java, Spring Framework, Micro Services, Any Java script Framework (Angular, ReactJS etc) frontends and SQL Server.  

Responsibilities

  • Full Stack development in Java (Spring Framework, Boot, Micro Services) and frontend development in ReactJS/Angular (with TypeScript). 
  • Develop robust APIs (REST/gRPC) and event-driven systems using Azure Service Bus, ActiveMQ, or Kafka. 
  • Champion DevOps practices including CI/CD with Azure DevOps, containerization with Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS) deployment. 
  • Implementation standards across microservices, observability, security, and scalability. 
  • Mentor engineers, drive peer reviews, and lead architectural decision-making across backend, frontend, and AI integration. 
  • Evaluate third-party tools and services for AI, data processing, and infrastructure optimization within the Azure ecosystem. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Preferably have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or technical work experience in IT field.
  • 6+ years of experience in full-stack software development, including cloud-native architecture. 
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred) and strong frontend skills in ReactJS/Angular. 
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform, including services like Azure App Services, SQL Server. 
  • Solid understanding of modern API design, microservices, distributed systems, and authentication/authorization (OAuth2, Azure AD). 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams while contributing hands-on to codebases. 
  • Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Strong grasp of DevOps tooling including Azure DevOps, and monitoring (App Insights, Log Analytics). 
  • Strong knowledge of penetration testing, static/dynamic analysis, and tools like Spot Bugs, Polaris, Acunetix, OWASP ZAP, etc. 
  • Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Azure AI Search, Pinecone) and knowledge graph integrations. 
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis. 
  • Experience with domain-specific products is a plus. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists.
