The primary responsibility of the Reginal Sales Director is to Manage and lead a sales team for a given territory.  Communicates, implements and executies all sales activities and strategies to maximize sales revenues in line with corporate objectives.  Accurately forecasts revenue.

-Provides direction, development and inspiration to team members

-Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce

-Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members

-Manages software field sales members in the sale of the organization’s software products or services to specific existing named or strategic accounts on a geographic basis

-Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities

-Responsible for organizing cross functional teams’ engagement with accounts

-Assumes responsibility for sales objectives.

-12+ years of relevant experience 

-Strong ability to build and lead top sellers

-Proven track record in building customer relationships and retention

-Ability to travel in territory up to 50% of the time

-Strong understanding of customer/industry climate

-Moderate to high level of solutions and technical knowledge
