If you want to be a member of a historical Open-Source project in an experienced developer team as a Test Automation Engineer, please do not hesitate. Your job will be developing, maintaining and running the test automation jobs and tools for the team.  This role is extremely important, and we are counting on you! 

• You will have the freedom to drive automation testing efforts including creating and executing test plans, test case development, and test status.
• You will cooperate with the local DevOps folks in developing and maintaining the build and test system.
• You will be empowered to design, build and maintain testing tools and automation scripts in a complex test environment.
• You will understand the product to help the Product Owner and Developers in the design- and product issues.
• You will collaborate with the syslog-ng Open-Source Community.

• You should possess at least 2 years hands-on experience in Quality Engineering and/or DevOps.
• Solid Programming knowledge in Python is a must. 
• Strong Linux background is required.
• Experience with different test methods and approaches. 
• Experience with CI/CD systems (Azure, Jenkins). 
• Familiarity with distributed version control systems such as Git.

Nice-to-have  

• Bachelor's degree 'preferred' ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, relevant experience considered.
• Open-Source fan. 
• Project in Github. 
• Kubernetes and Docker knowledge. 
• Experience in log management technologies or products. 
• Azure DevOps experience.  
• Experience in C or C++ or web technologies.  
• Transparent and friendly personality.
