Overview

Quest Software is seeking a proactive, strategic, and collaborative Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to help evolve and scale our marketing operations function. This role is designed for someone who can step in and own critical pieces of our marketing operations stack, while also bringing a fresh perspective to how we optimize processes, streamline workflows, and unlock the full potential of our marketing technology and reporting.

 

As a key member of the marketing operations team, you will support and complement the work of senior leadership by increasing visibility, improving cross-functional alignment, and enhancing the systems that power our marketing engine – enabling the organization to target the right buyers, generate high quality leads and help move them down the funnel.

 

You'll work closely with stakeholders across Demand Gen, ABM, Digital, and Content to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable systems and processes. This is a high-visibility, high-growth opportunity for someone who loves digging into data, building smarter systems, and helping teams work better together.

Responsibilities

  • Own and Optimize Core Marketing Systems
    You will administer and enhance key platforms including Eloqua, Demandbase, and Salesforce, ensuring seamless integration, clean data flows, and efficient campaign execution across the marketing stack.
  • Enable Visibility Through Reporting and Analytics
    You will develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports that provide actionable insights into marketing effectiveness, campaign ROI, and funnel performance to inform strategy and drive decision-making.
  • Support Cross-Functional Alignment
    You will partner with Demand Gen, ABM, Digital, Content, Sales, Product, and IT to ensure marketing operations align with broader business objectives and campaign goals.
  • Improve and Scale Operational Processes
    You will design and implement scalable, repeatable processes for lead management, campaign execution, and reporting. Proactively identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to drive operational excellence.
  • Drive Funnel Management and Optimization
    You will monitor key marketing signals such as lead volume, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity to identify bottlenecks, optimize the lead journey, and support short- and long-term pipeline generation.
  • Advance Lead Scoring and Attribution Models
    You will work with Sales Ops and Analytics to refine lead scoring, attribution models, and funnel metrics to support accurate measurement of marketing’s impact on revenue.
  • Champion Martech Strategy and Innovation
    You will evaluate and recommend new technologies or enhancements to existing tools. Help define and execute a roadmap that improves automation, personalization, and campaign scalability.
  • Support Campaign Execution
    You will provide hands-on support for marketing programs including events, webinars, and email automation. Ensure campaigns are properly configured, tracked, and optimized within the tech stack.
  • Collaborate on Strategic Initiatives
    You will contribute to major cross-functional projects such as data governance programs, campaign attribution frameworks, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Foster Team Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
    You will create documentation, establish best practices, and support training initiatives that enable broader teams to effectively use marketing tools and contribute to operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • You should have 8+ years of experience in marketing operations or a related field within B2B SaaS
  • You will have hands-on expertise with Salesforce, Eloqua, Demandbase, and related MarTech tools, etc
  • You should possess strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets to drive pipeline and revenue
  • You will have proven experience managing and scaling marketing technology systems and processes
  • You should be an effective cross-functional collaborator with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • You should demonstrate leadership ability, with experience mentoring or managing team members
  • You must be a strategic thinker with a track record of solving problems and optimizing operations in fast-paced environments
  • You should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a suitable field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus
