We are looking for a seasoned, action-oriented Corporate Communications Sr. Director who can lead from the front—someone who brings a proven track record in building and executing successful communications strategies in high-growth, fast-paced environments.

You’ll be responsible for building and executing a modern communications strategy that drives visibility, reputation, and thought leadership for Quest Software. Reporting to the SVP of Corporate and Demand Marketing, this leader will oversee our communications strategy, driving engagement across media, analysts, influencers and social platforms.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Communications Strategy: Develop and execute a clear, compelling communications strategy that supports our brand growth and business priorities across global markets. Ability to translate strategy into breakthrough campaigns, narratives, and initiatives that advance Quest Software’s position with relevant audiences.
  • Media & Analyst Relations: Build strong relationships with media, analysts, and influencers. Secure coverage that puts Quest Software at the center of AI, data management, and security conversations.
  • Executive Communications: Partner closely with Quest executives and the internal communications team to craft authentic, impactful messaging for keynotes, press opportunities, and thought leadership engagements.
  • Brand Voice & Messaging: Define and enforce brand voice, messaging frameworks, and narratives that unify all internal and external communication touchpoints.
  • Content & Storytelling: Lead content development across formats—press releases, blogs, social, and multimedia—to ensure consistent storytelling and messaging across platforms.
  • Social Media: Drive the strategy and messaging for corporate social channels, ensuring we’re consistently engaging with the market and showcasing company wins and leadership.
  • Crisis Communications: Provide guidance and hands-on support during reputational risks or sensitive situations to protect and reinforce the Quest brand.
  • Measurement & Optimization: Define KPIs and reporting cadences to evaluate communication efforts and optimize strategy for business impact.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 12–15+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or strategic storytelling, preferably in the B2B tech or cybersecurity space.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success elevating a company’s presence through media, analyst, and thought leadership programs.
  • Leadership: Experience leading communications efforts within high-growth, fast-paced environments—startup or scale-up experience is a major plus.
  • Executional Agility: Ability to think strategically and execute tactically—this role is part leader, part doer.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Clear, confident writer and speaker who can craft and deliver messages that resonate.
  • Creative Marketer: Out-of-the-box thinker who knows how to use communication as a tool for growth and brand differentiation.
