Job Title: Software QA Staff Engineer

We are looking for motivated self-driven thought leaders and engineers to build NetVault for Quest Data Protection.
This will involve designing, developing and delivering services platform for variety of customers that will protect, manage and store their data center objects.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting edge cloud technologies and services platforms to build innovative patent-ready applications.
-Understanding the requirements and feature design
-Creating the test cases based on the detailed understanding developed in the discussions with the development team
-Understanding the hardware needs and creating test setups
-Helping in creating the test plans / automation plans
-Keeping a track of daily self test execution
-Decide and optimize on the OS – hardware to be used for testing
-Assist the customer facing teams in reproducing the customer cases
-Creating defects having some initial level triaging done looking at logs
-Develop subject matter expertize in some specific technical area and guide the team in the issues related to the area
-Develop test scripts and create the automation execution plan
-6+ Years of experience
-Computer science Engineering (BE/MTech/MCA) graduate from reputed university/college with good academic records
-Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to learn quickly and think analytically
-Automation and scripting experience
-Active listening skills
-Ability to collaborate easily with the team members and help the junior team members in executing daily tasks smoothly
-Experience utilizing Confluence, JIRA and Scrum
-Detailed understanding of data protection and storage management
